POSITION : INTERNATIONAL NEW BUSINESS SALES CONSULTANT DIVISION : JOHANNESBURG

PURPOSE:

To ensure that INTERNATONAL new business is secured in line with individual sales targets and overall strategy towards revenue growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acquire new business, in line with territory and targets
  • Generate and submit required reports
  • Ensure Customer visits / interaction as per call cycle
  • Produce and submit Proposals and pricing submissions
  • Ensure that amendments to or implementation of new business processes are done
  • Building strong and effective relationships with Customers in line with business model. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business
  • Must be “NEW BUSINESS” – Hunting /Cold calling specialist
  • Experience in International logistics
  • Excellent communication & client relations & service orientation skills
  • Brilliant Presentation Skills
  • Understanding of Freight Reports
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Administrative skills
  • Good planning & organizing and Time management skills
  • Own transport – reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
  • Grade 12
  • A qualification in Sales & Marketing will be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years’ New Business Sales experience
  • Experience of Courier / Road Freight Industry will be advantageous
