POSITION : INTERNATIONAL NEW BUSINESS SALES CONSULTANT DIVISION : JOHANNESBURG
PURPOSE:
To ensure that INTERNATONAL new business is secured in line with individual sales targets and overall strategy towards revenue growth.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire new business, in line with territory and targets
- Generate and submit required reports
- Ensure Customer visits / interaction as per call cycle
- Produce and submit Proposals and pricing submissions
- Ensure that amendments to or implementation of new business processes are done
- Building strong and effective relationships with Customers in line with business model. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business
- Must be “NEW BUSINESS” – Hunting /Cold calling specialist
- Experience in International logistics
- Excellent communication & client relations & service orientation skills
- Brilliant Presentation Skills
- Understanding of Freight Reports
- Attention to detail
- Strong Administrative skills
- Good planning & organizing and Time management skills
- Own transport – reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
- Grade 12
- A qualification in Sales & Marketing will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ New Business Sales experience
- Experience of Courier / Road Freight Industry will be advantageous
